


The reliable, robust and safe operation of the steering gears are checked and verified via continuous tests as well. In order to identify and eliminate the errors as soon as possible, the testing activity is integrated in our development and manufacturing processes.
Prior to completion of the prototype, the behaviour of a new system under development is modelled on computer, and is subjected to load- and reliability tests.
In case of prototypes we examine whether the system meets all the requirements imposed on it. We check the correct functionality, whether it works without any problems during the entire expected lifetime, can it withstand extreme temperatures and environmental conditions.
We simulate failure modes and ensure that the vehicle will continue to remain under control; in case of an unexpected failure, the driver can safely stop the car.
The complexity of the system requires that we check the "building blocks" of it, – each subsystem separately, thoroughly and completely. One of the largest and most complex subsystems is the control software. The testing of it is carried out by teams specialized in this field.
Our work is continuously monitored by the Client. In addition, regular examination of independent auditors demonstrates that the test development and -running we performed, the treatment of detected system errors comply with the highest standards of the industry (ISO TS 16949, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE).
Our colleagues work with the most advanced tools of leading manufacturers and the company places great emphasis on automation of tests. Our dedicated test infrastructure team takes care of further development of the test environment used by us. By providing trainings, we ensure the up to date knowledge of latest technologies (AUTOSAR, Model Driven Development, etc.).
