With the arrival of thyssenkrupp, Szeged has become an internationally prominent location for the development of state-of-the-art electromechanical steering systems. The presence of the University of Szeged played an important role in the decision to open an office in the city on the banks of the Tisza. Another important factor was the fact that the city has increasingly become a regional centre for IT services and software development in recent years.

Our new engineering service centre, in coordination with our offices in Budapest and Veszprém, will increase the international competitiveness of thyssenkrupp's specialised R&D activities. Our highly skilled engineering staff provides automotive high-end hardware and software development for the world's largest automotive brands.


In our Szeged office, we employ software developers, software architects and integrators, but we are also expanding our team with software testers and functional and cyber security specialists.
